Ramana Maharshi said: "Your own self-realization is the greatest service you can render the world."
Simone Weil, in Gravity and Grace, said: "If we go down into ourselves we find that we possess exactly what we desire."
Agnes deMille said: "Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what is next or how. The moment you [believe you] know how, you begin to die a little."
The Dalai Lama once said that his religion was human kindness.
Kabbalah says that: "We receive the light, then we impart the light. Thus we repair the world."
These are all lovely quotes, but how do we actually live them? How do we manage our daily lives on this precarious planet and also let go of knowing what's coming next? How do we find the places in ourselves that we've buried and protected for good reasons? How do we become kind and compassionate to all human beings, even the ones that threaten us, even those who have harmed us? How do we become people who help repair the world?
Integrated Kabbalisitic Healing (IKH) is an extremely kind and compassionate way to make that difficult journey down into ourselves in order to discover what we truly possess. The process gently teaches us, through the truth of our own experience, to let go of knowing what we thought we knew--what we thought we absolutely had to know. This work brings us, each at our own pace, into greater and greater self-realization.
Compassion, kindness, relationship and the truth of each person's own experience are the foundations of IKH. Through the journey into our deepest, most hidden places and back again into light, we repair ourselves as we bring the pieces of ourselves back together into their wholeness.
It has been said that when we heal ourselves we also heal seven generations back and seven generations forward. Imagine how this ripples out. When we heal ourselves, we truly become healing forces in the world.
